Welcome to Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions (AMGOI) and your journey toward excellence in engineering education across our diverse range of specialized branches. It is my distinct honor to serve as the Head of the Applied Science and Humanities Department at this prestigious autonomous institution in Vathar Tarf Vadgaon, Maharashtra, which has established itself as a leading provider of quality engineering education.
Basic sciences form the cornerstone of all engineering and technology disciplines. Our department encompasses essential subjects including Applied Mathematics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, and Communication Skills. These fundamental areas provide the critical foundation upon which all advanced engineering concepts are built.
Our faculty comprises highly qualified, experienced professionals who are deeply committed to both teaching excellence and research innovation. The department’s primary mission is to instill in students a deep appreciation for the fundamental principles underlying all engineering disciplines, enabling you to excel in your chosen field of specialization. We are dedicated to guiding your transformation from students into professional engineers equipped with both technical competence and critical thinking skills.
Recognizing that the transition from school to college represents a significant milestone, we provide comprehensive support through various initiatives designed to ease this adjustment. Our support system includes Induction Orientation Programs, project-based learning, career guidance sessions, mentorship and proctor systems, continuous assessment methods, academic competitions, industry visits, and regular parent meetings.
The First Year Engineering Students Association (FESA) serves as the hub for student activities, organizing numerous academic and social events throughout the year. FESA coordinates celebrations of significant occasions such as Teachers’ Day and Engineers’ Day, fostering a vibrant campus community that balances academic rigor with personal development.
We are privileged to offer exceptional infrastructure dedicated exclusively to first-year academics. Our facilities include six modern classrooms equipped with LCD projectors, along with newly established specialized laboratories for Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Language Learning, Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Drawing, Computer Programming, and Basic Mechanical and Electrical studies. These resources reflect our management’s commitment to providing contemporary learning environments that meet evolving educational needs.
