Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering
Our department is a center of excellence dedicated to producing competent, innovative, and employable mechanical engineers through a blend of rigorous academics, cutting-edge research, and industry collaboration. We impart fundamental and advanced technical knowledge in thermal sciences, design, automation, and smart manufacturing, supported by state-of-the-art labs (CAD/CAM, CFD, robotics) and industry-aligned projects. Our focus on research and professional growth empowers students to develop sustainable solutions, publish in reputed journals, and engage in global competitions.
Beyond technical skills, we cultivate teamwork, communication, and ethics through collaborative projects, seminars, and societal initiatives. Committed to lifelong learning and entrepreneurship, we offer career training (GATE, GRE, UPSC), startup incubation, and industry internships, ensuring graduates excel in MNCs, defense, R&D, and higher studies globally. By integrating innovation with societal impact, we prepare engineers to lead with technical mastery, ethical values, and adaptive problem-solving.
We offer B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Intake -30) and M. Tech in Mechanical Design Engineering (Intake -18) and Mechanical Production Engineering (Intake -18).
