


Celebrating Innovation: PBL Day 2026
The Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering successfully hosted its Project-Based Learning (PBL) Day on Friday, May 29, 2026. The event highlighted the technical ingenuity, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative efforts of our students.A total of 7 student groups participated in the exhibition, presenting a diverse range of innovative hardware and software projects. The event served as a dynamic platform for students to bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world engineering applications. Visitors witnessed live demonstrations of embedded systems, automation projects, and advanced software solutions.The event was conducted under the guidance of HoD Dr. C. R. Dongarsane and coordinated successfully by Mrs. A. S. Kale..
Guest Lecture on GUI Programming in Java:
The Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering successfully conducted a Guest Lecture on GUI Programming in Java for S.Y. students on 16/05/2026 . The session was delivered by Mr. Pravin Karave Sir, who provided valuable knowledge and hands-on guidance on Java GUI programming. The program was organized under the guidance of HoD Dr. C. R. Dongarsane and coordinated by Mrs. S. A. Nikam. The session was highly informative and beneficial for all participating students.

Hands-on Training Program on 8051 & STM32 Microcontrollers:
he Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering conducted a hands-on training program on 8051 and STM32 microcontrollers for S.Y. E&C students on 30/04/2026, led by Mr. Vijay Badhane (Scientech, Pune). A total of 50 students participated and gained practical experience in interfacing and embedded system applications. The program was coordinated by Prof. Mrs. A. S. Kale.



Web Development workshop:
The Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, in association with IIC, hosted a three-day Web Development workshop from 11/03/2026 to 13/03/2026. The workshop was inaugurated by Director Dr. S. R. Chougule, Dean Dr. S. S. Patil, and HoD Dr. C. R. Dongarsane.Led by expert Mr. Jabbar Shaikh (Digital Microsys Technologies), the session provided students with industry-oriented, hands-on training to bridge the gap between theory and practical application. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates, successfully enhancing the technical excellence and employability of all participants.
FDP on Advances in IoT and Cybersecurity –
An Industry Perspective
The Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering successfully organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from February 9 to 13, 2026 . The program featured five distinguished resource persons— Mr. Rajan Bhusake, Dr. Vaishali Gaikwad, Mr. Gaurav Mapari, Dr. Parikshit Mahale, and Mr. Vinayak Sutar —who shared advanced technical expertise and industry perspectives with over 150+ participants. The sessions focused on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industrial applications, covering critical areas such as IoT security architecture, emerging cyber threats, and defensive strategies for Industry 4.0.
The SY Student–Parent Meet of the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering was held online on 5th March 2026 under the guidance of HOD Dr. C. R. Dongarsane. Faculty members Mrs. A. S. Kale and Mrs. S. A. Nikam interacted with parents, discussed students’ progress, and addressed their queries, strengthening parent–institution communication.



Educational Industrial Visit:
On 11th November 2025, the Electronics and Computer Engineering students of Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions visited Elcom International Pvt. Ltd., Kagal, Kolhapur as part of an Educational Industrial Visit. The visit provided practical exposure to industrial processes, modern technologies, and organizational workflow. Students interacted with industry experts, observed real-time production activities, and gained valuable insights into professional work culture and career opportunities.
Project Based Learning (PBL) 2025:
On 1st December 2025, the Project Cell organized the Department-level celebration of Project Based Learning (PBL) 2025 at Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions. The event provided a platform for SY students to present innovative project ideas addressing real-world industry, social, and technological challenges. The program encouraged creativity, teamwork, and application of engineering knowledge, fostering an entrepreneurial and lifelong learning mindset among students.
Navsanvad 2025:
On 25th September 2025, the Department of E&C Engineering organized Navsanvad 2025, a guest lecture on “Winning Strategies for Government Exams and Mindset for Career Development.” The session was delivered by Ms. Shweta Pol, Assistant Engineer (PWD, Government of Maharashtra), along with Dr. (Mrs.) Sangeeta Chougule, Director, AMGOI. The program guided students on effective preparation strategies for competitive government exams, time management, and building a positive mindset for career growth. The interactive session benefited 147 students,



Engineer’s Day, :
On 15th September 2025, on the occasion of Engineer’s Day, the Electronics and Computer Department, through the Project Cell, organized a Department-level Ideathon 2025 Competition based on the Smart India Hackathon. A total of 16 groups participated actively. The event also marked the inauguration of the Department Student Association “ECONEX”, during which various posts were assigned to students, promoting innovation, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Parents–Teacher Meet 2025–26:
The E&C Department conducted the Parents–Teacher Meet 2025–26 on 29th September 2025 to strengthen communication between parents and faculty. The meeting focused on student attendance, academic progress, and overall development. Mr. Suresh G. Chougule, Parent Representative, shared valuable feedback and suggestions, contributing to collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing students’ academic performance and holistic growth.
Teacher’s Day Celebration:
On 8th September 2025, the Teacher’s Day Celebration was organized by the students of Electronics and Computer Department at Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions to honor and appreciate the dedication and contributions of teachers. The program featured cultural performances, fun activities, and a felicitation ceremony, providing students an opportunity to express gratitude and strengthen the teacher–student bond in a joyful and respectful atmosphere.
