Welcome to the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at Ashokrao Mane Group of Institutions (AMGOI). Established in 2024 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students, our department was founded with a clear vision: to provide a high-quality education that seamlessly blends the core principles of electronics with the rapidly evolving world of modern computing technologies.
As our institution transitions into its Autonomous status (commencing with the 2025-26 academic year), we have gained the significant advantage of academic flexibility. This autonomy allows us to implement the Autonomous Academic Rules & Regulations and align our curriculum with NEP-2020, ensuring that our students receive a contemporary, industry-relevant education. Our curriculum development process is now more dynamic, allowing us to bridge the gap between traditional engineering and the interdisciplinary skills required to solve modern global challenges.
The department is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including advanced laboratories, smart classrooms, and dedicated computing facilities connected via a high-speed leased line. We believe in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and focus on nurturing creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving through real-world projects, internships, and research. Our mission is to empower students with the technical excellence and ethical practices necessary to excel in industry, higher education, and entrepreneurship.
