Strengths of the Department:
- UG program of department is accredited by NBA, New Delhi from academic year 2017-18 to 2019-20.
- Well established laboratories equipped with advanced instruments/equipments like Total station, Servo Control cum Computerized Universal testing machine, Digital Support Reaction of beam, Digital Jar Test Apparatus etc.
- There are total 12 active Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) signed by the department with reputed companies for establishing Industry- Institute interaction and seeking opportunities for internship and placement.
- Department offers consultancy and services to various organizations for testing building materials (i.e. steel, cement, bricks, soil, water), structural audits etc.
- Internal revenue generated through consultancy services.
- Experienced & qualified faculty with one doctorate faculty and five faculties registered for Ph.D.
- Faculty publications are in reputed National and International conferences and Journals of good impact factor/H index.
- Student centered Civil Engineering Student Association (CESA) to enhance students’ creativity and skill development.
- Hosting of workshops, seminars and conferences for students & faculty for exchange of knowledge and latest advancement in Civil Engineering.
- Continual interactions with Industry Professionals, Alumni, Parents and Stakeholders by hosting Alumni meet, Parent meet Industrial training program and Expert talk.
- Department has 3Ds Max club as a Center of Excellence (CoE) offering regular workshops and training sessions, hands-on project learning, participation in competitions.
- Each year, we acknowledge the best outgoing student from our department, celebrating their exemplary journey and promising future.
- Department has active participation in social activities like blood donation camp, awareness on rain water harvesting and awareness about green building.
