Civil Engineering Student Association (CESA)

Goal:
To empower civil engineering students through academic support, skill development, industry exposure, and collaborative opportunities, fostering innovation, professionalism, and personal growth.

Objectives:

• To academic support of workshops, coursework and communication and collaboration between students and faculty.
• To develop professionalism in the students by providing seminars, workshops, guest lectures and industry visits.
• To organize technical events, conferences, and competitions to promote innovation and research work.

Established in 2009 at AMG College, the Civil Engineering Student Association (CESA) is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment for students and faculty, with a focus on ethical values and professional growth. CESA provides a vibrant platform for students to share their ideas, enhance their technical knowledge, and develop leadership qualities.CESA also takes pride in organizing various extracurricular and community-oriented activities such as the annual blood donation camp, promoting a sense of social responsibility among students. Additionally, CESA hosts student felicitation programs during major departmental events, including the welcome function for newly admitted students and the farewell function for outgoing students, recognizing their achievements and contributions.

An Alumni Meet is also organized under CESA, where distinguished alumni are honored and felicitated for their accomplishments in the professional world, thereby inspiring current students and strengthening the alumni network. The association regularly conducts educational visits, expert lectures, and encourages active participation in competitions at regional and national levels, contributing to the all-round development of students.
