Message from the Head of Department
Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering
The Department of Electrical Engineering has been committed to nurturing competent engineers and responsible professionals since its establishment in 2010. With a dedicated team of qualified faculty members, well-equipped laboratories and a student centric learning environment, we strive to provide quality technical education that meets the evolving demands of industry and society.
The autonomous status of our institution marks a significant milestone in our journey towards academic excellence. Autonomy provides us with the flexibility to design a dynamic and industry oriented curriculum, incorporate emerging technologies, promote multidisciplinary learning and implement innovative teaching-learning practices. This enables us to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industrial requirements while fostering creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities among students.
Our department offers comprehensive learning opportunities in Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Embedded Systems, PLC-SCADA, Electric Vehicles and other contemporary domains. Through project-based learning, skill development programs, industrial interactions, internships and research activities, we prepare students to excel in their professional careers and contribute meaningfully to technological advancement.
The Electrical Engineering Students Association (EESA) actively encourages students to participate in technical, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, helping them develop leadership, teamwork, communication and managerial skills. We believe that holistic development is essential for creating future-ready engineers. Together, let us strive for excellence, innovation and lifelong learning while upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and social responsibility. Wishing you success in all your academic and professional endeavors.
